Oh and yes, the F3 line is available and it’s awesome.

The skunk pheno is only about 10% of seeds…
Pheno 1- 40% Mango/Pineapple/Coconut
Pheno 2- 20% Oranges/Pine/Kerosene
Pheno 3- 30% Mango/Skunk
Pheno 4- 10% Skunk/BabyPoo
I've got some 20 year old seeds here I'd love to have grown them out. There "was" about 8 or 10 different Skunks, I bred together, there were sativa hybrids, and Afghani's. Ended up all bred together at one time or another. That's up to about 2009 or 10'. Then I started buying more seed, GHS, Barneys Farm, DNA, Cali Connection, it goes on and on. I tried to make seed from them all.
And I'm still making seed every fucking run of some sort today...
It's pathetic!
I don't care anymore, but maybe one day, everyone will be glad I tried to preserve the genetics.
Maybe wasn't the smartest approach to breeding, but I got them done.
There's some of the most Putrid smells in some of it, it "startles" you when you bump up against a plant and it hits your nose. Goes right to your stomach.
It's about those esters and thiols, still in a high enough accumulation in the plant.
It's only in tiny amounts to start with.
All cannabis today doesn't carry enough to be noticed.
Such a shame.

The last day of veg. Started under 6000k 1000w Metal Halide. 25ish day veg, Last 5 days I switch to HPS. Rockwool 4x4 was pretty speedy, but I think coco is much more forgiving. Won’t use rockwool again but it was a fun experiment. I put the 4x4 cubes into fox farm coco loco, I think it’s the best cheap mix. Some compost in there is nice, water it 5.7-6.2 just like coco. I bake the ‘soil’ at 200F for an hour to kill pests/disease. Anything over 210 F starts to make weird toxins. Access to a hotbox will help but if you’re patient and you hate pests you can use your oven. This setup Allows me to grow ~46 plants per table. 4x16 area. Not 4x10 my b

I steam my soil in a pressure cooker with a separation plate in the bottom. Comes with the cooker.
They were making fun of me in here.
I think it was "delete member 60" lol

Apollo 13 F3 keeper. Good looking dude. Some little trichs on him, resembles the girl skunk F2 pheno #14. Smell is garlicy sewage.

Khalifa Kush S1 bag seed from Cresco Labs.
Day 21 from flip. Really fast flower speed for a seed. Whatever they bred her with it looks like a true indica. Did a little pruning but the training was daily. Stout with very dense, bushy growth. Had trichomes in veg. So far smells like earthy pine we’ll see how that develops. 2 gallon pot and she took over the table.

486CF474-8CB8-4E17-A60E-FE825EF63E10.jpegKhalifa day 33, easily the fastest and dankest plant I’ve ever grown. Pungent lemon/gas/glue odor with an earthy, woodsy, piney twist. KK is the real deal. Cannot wait to cross her with chocolate diesel skitty cut.

A few low Khalifa branches got hit with the extra nasty and potent Vortex F3 male selection.

F3 #5 Very impressive dude selected out of 17 males. Foul garlicy garbage like terps. He’s cloned and will be used for future breeding projects until he’s joined by F4 and F5 males. His mother was a real skunky vortex F2 testing at 27-30% total THC. That lucky girl has spurred the return of the best Apollo phenotype ever imo. In F3~35% of the plants express the skunk terps, I expect this to be locked in near 90% by F5. In the meantime The chosen F3 plants will pollinate some exciting cuts.

9B80A07E-170A-43AB-A4B3-C27C2698222E.jpegWiddling Vortex F3 down into F4. Starting to separate out the phenos.
Aside from the baby poo/skunk/cheese pheno, and the sour orange kerosene pheno, There’s a rich earthy, grape/blueberry like smell to the third pheno, and the fourth is tropical candy. They’re all really getting after it. Khalifa and 88 G13 Afghan are moving pretty quick, Day 36 I think it is? GG4xRoadKillxTripleOG is moving pretty quick. An F1 male on that gorilla roadkill was a real keeper. Cloned him late. Might have to stabilize with his pollen and cross with khalifa. Somewhat slow strains are Grimm glue and SLHxClementine.
Ordered chocolate diesel skitty cut, real excited.

My ‘trap house’ came with rose bushes, and the garlic I left in the fridge sprouted :D guess I’m putting a garden on an orbit timer. I like alfalfa meal, worm casting, bio char, humic acid and cypress mulch as a quick and easy top layer for any bed. I’ve got a nice wood bin going as well. Crazy how fast the bugs chew down material once they get established, you can walk back in like 3 days and the leaves you tossed in are almost gone. May as well spruce up the yard before I sell it off.
Calling it a yard in its current state is very generous though lol I’m just going to till it, throw down a wildflower mix to rejuvenate the soil diversity/health, till those in before winter and plant winter rye, till that before it seeds /the ground freezes and brick off the edges for a mulch bed. There’s a really cool hibiscus tree in the back

, it’s really pretty when it blooms. A huge version of that stands over the yard and provides shade, it’s a catalpa tree, standing around 45 feet tall if I had to guess! It’s basically a willow tree that has sprouts thousands of huge white flowers in late spring, some people call them cigar trees in honor of their cigar shaped seed pods they drop after the bloom. After the winter I’ll till and level everything one last time before I plant some nice grass seed for a small lawn. Im gonna make the entire front ‘yard’ a mulched perennial garden with Lillies, Iris, a black hills spruce on the corner, some of those hibiscus clones, and rose bush clones. There’s already tiger Lillie’s our front that I planted a few arborvitae in between. Those things really take off after their first winter.
