Weak stems.

Hey guys. First run in RDWC running Current Culture nutrients. I’ve switched from Canna nutrients and noticed weak stems. Long time grower brand new to hydro. I’ve read adding silica strengthens stems. I’m wondering why Cultured Solutions release a range that needs more? Should I just switch back to Canna? FYI growing Down Under

I personally grow in soil - my answer would be that you need soil - but that ain't very helpfull is it

Your grow room is too hot, you need silica, you have shit genetics, you have a strain known for that, take your pick - you didn't give a lot of info.

Definitely get some quality silica. I use power si or grow genius. Both work well in my hydro system. Use them as a foliar to save some money, as they're kind of expensive. And maybe you need more light intensity. And some cultivars just have weak, floppy branches. I hate those plants and never keep them, no matter how good the bud may be.
