Spots on leaves

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what the problem is. I got 5 mystery plants going right now in DWC.

Im having issues with 2 of them. The new growth looks alright I suppose but the old leaves look bad, and it seems to be spreading up.

Ph was 5.9 when I checked and EC is .5

Here is my environment...

The other 3 look good in the same environment. Could they just be hungry? Calmag? Any ideas?

Now I believe i'm dealing with root issues. Problem is, why just these 2, and how do I fix it?

I run megacrop and a sterile res, and normally I never have root issues... but I bumped up the EC and its getting progressively worse and the roots look like ass.

Here are the healthy ones, same environment and feeding

What are your water temps? You muggy want to look into hydrogaurd if your having trouble keeping a sterile res.
Yea, I've got some hydroguard. I actually switched to sterile tho because it didn't work out too well.

My temps are usually pretty warm (75 +), and I have wondered if a flood and drain would work better for me...

But for now, I wonder if putting my air pump on a timer could help reduce temps?

I'm sure it would. Just make sure they are getting enough oxygen. I've never done that so I don't the intervals to shoot for.
