RE-VEG FOR THE "OUTDOOR SEASON"

I decided on re-vegging some of my seed I grew last year.
They were younger, and were trailing the contest plants in size,
so I just decided to take them out of flower.
They are beginning to shed some of their transition leaves.
I believe I timed it about right to have some big ass plants for outside when the weather warms up a little more.
These were the first that I harvested last year and were the best overall.
Everyone that tried it, loved the taste and got super stoned.
The smell is like an "Orange Tea Tree Gum" to Pumpkin Spice.
Great to smoke in a joint.

These are new seed from the same mothers bred with 6 different Skunk males.

Here are 3 clones from that deep green contest plant.
Even it's clones are staying that deep green.

Rainy day, thought I'd post some pics to pass the time and
fill you in on some of my techniques and products that still works for me after all these years.
I feel like I've tried everything at least once in my life of gardening.

So you all better start bringing your note pads
because I'm only gonna show you one time so pay attention. lol

"Re-Veg News!"
They are greening up and almost ready to shift into another gear.
I transplanted the re vegged into tall 5 gal containers yesterday.
I would have used 7 gal fabric pots, but these get only temporary housing,
until I find the right location to set down their tap roots.
Still trying to figure out my strategy to keep them safe from the public.

Getting ready to transplant the Orange cross in their permanent homes, the 7 gal fabric pots.
These will be getting DEP in about a week or 10 days.
All females and pretty healthy except the bottom center has a little bit of nute burn from foliar spray and light intensity.
A transplant will fix all that.


Lesson on my container usage.
Here's some of the containers I use.

This is my main "work horse" of gardening containers.
The legendary 3 gal "squat" pot.


Next, the 4 gal "tap root" pot.
The "wedge"! lol

The taller 5 gal plastic pot.

Note;
The 3 gal and the 4 gal wedge container both will fit inside the 5 gal container perfectly.

Last but not least;
When I want a big plant,
it's the 18 or 32 gallon,
Dollar Store totes for the win.
5 bucks and and a drill bit and you got a #1 container.
She can be tied down by her branches without a struggle.
She won't be forced into wearing that stringy Lange ray stuff either. lol

Don't give all your hard earned $$$ out to the internet "vultures" circling, just waiting for another opening to fill their pockets.
Spend it where it matters the most.

i just set 4 more a dub in the baby container ,had a few dud with some of the babys should be able to move to the tent in a week to 10 days, hopefully. ;ooked at them yesterday and thought those will never make it to cups @ noon i'am busy with dirt and cups!

There's one "rule of thumb" before any training.
Spray branching before hand with water/ nutes so plant is more pliable.
spray lid and center to balance, add water to lid if you need more weight.
It doesn't take long to show progress.
Don't fuck up and break branches and best do it in the shade.

That's a clone of the contest plant.
I do things that aren't quite the norm, I never had any mentor or grow buddies like most. I'll be sharing a few more as the grow moves along.
I was isolated from all the "bad habits". lol
Getting vegetable garden ready and it had rained a good bit and I raked the soil back and there were earth worms and night crawlers everywhere.
I scooped 100's up real quick, getting ready to drop in these plants.

They need thinned out, but I haven't had time.
Been working on some electronics the last few days changing capacitors.
I work on a little bit of everything.

I ran into a big problem a couple days ago. I fell and hurt myself and wasn't able to get my plants back inside. Of course we had a heavy ass frost and the plants were frozen. I sprayed them with warm water yesterday morning is all I knew to try.
Will they survive? I don't fuckin' know!
I was ahead in the game, now not so sure.
Anybody have any advice; I really don't know what else to do at this point.
When you live alone and there is no one to help in emergencies, something like this is devastating.

Hope it was just a bump you had to rub some dirt in real quick.

They look like they'll bounce back amigo. From my experience when they crisp up around the edges of the fan leaves right away is when you know they took a hard hit. One thing I would keep an eye out for is mold, pm, botrytis in their weakened state.
