Nothing wrong with wanting to pay your own way.

Just talked to one of the clubs, I see your dilemma. You got to be medical and fill out paperwork, and they can supply clones, but not legal to grow there without medical, aka rec. Use that card at gps and see if it works

There are a few sites out there that take Paypal....and they all want yer $$$....so as was mentioned above...never hurts to contact them and see if there's a way to play with a debit card as well.
