Organic IPM

What are my fellow organic guys using in their IPM program? Currently I'm using a rotation of flying skulls nukem, monterrey insect spray with spinosad, neem oil and a few different essential oils. I'm almost out of nukem and before i buy more I'm wondering if there's something better and cheaper out there that you guys are using.

I'll have to get the recipe for you another day, but the boss man on the hemp farm, has used some type of of pepper and soap spray, idk exactly but I will find out for you!

I've never actually used one of those. I've heard about them tho. Do they smell? Cuz sulpher reeks lol

Ya they smell like shit and you need to take special precautions like only burning during lights off

I would add: grandevo and venerate for mites.

I'll use Spinosad in veg, but in flower it's persimilis mites, cucumeris, or ladybugs. For pm I use a dilute of alcohol and water, about 5050 and add some food grade potassium bicarbonate.

Yea I definitely only use predator bugs in flower, if I use anything. I'm usually just fingers crossed through flower and it almost always works out if I'm on my ipm through veg.

Oh, forgot to mention plant doctor organocide for PM. Also makes for some really healthy plants. Not exactly organic, but at least harmless. "Mono- and di-potassium salts of Phosphorous Acid"

Full pucker factor on flip, lol. Shit happens sometimes. The alc thing also works against bugs.

I start with with oils, aloe, a surfactant, and an emulsifier. Following this old recipe from GGG.

If that doesn't prevent then I spray flying skull. I watched a great workshop on YouTube about cannabis IPM that talks about the OR approved list. It included info about Grandevo and Venerate which I haven't had to bother with...yet

I use spinosad, real growers recharge, and trans resveratrol 5% that I mix myself but you can buy it under the name Regalia. All OMRI listed ingredients.

Recently heard about this stuff called Lifegard WG. To me it seems similar to spinosad as it's a product from a bacillus strain, but it works very similar to the resveratrol in that it triggers the plants immune system to kind of boost it up a little.

I don’t directly pull air to my grow from outside. I take my shoes off inside. Take a shower when i arrive at home.

I’m a hobby grower so not many plants. I got NeemAzal also. I hardly ever use it. And never in flower. I hope i will never have to.
