I am looking to buy and build a light something like this picture. However....I have no clue what I actually need. I am looking to put 2 of these in a 5x8 area for flowering only. Also...brownie points for someone who knows someone who builds and sells them with shipping.

Hmmm I have no experience with strips but I can tell you that 2x ELG 240 drivers would save you about $50 over one HLG 480.

I am moving away from boards completely. Nothing against them but with strips, I will get a more even coverage throughout my flowering room. I have alot of money invested so I want the lights to be how I want them too.

I just purchased this kit...16 strip 550 watt kit with 2 - 240 drivers ....these are the strips. Instead of 14 I am getting 16 total per light also...

44 inches wide. He is the person who did the work for me. Message FTLexpress@yahoo.com ....that's his email address. We worked on it outside of Ebay to avoid seller fees and not have eyes on our convo. Mine pulls about 610 from the wall. Instead of 14 I went with 16 per 8 per side. I also was going to run 4- 125 meanwells but I didnt want all those drivers since I have 2 of them. Honestly I love it....doesnt throw off barely any heat.
