How do i fix this nutrient problem

I am using MC about 3.5 grams per gallon with 1.5 ml of calmag (added first shaken then MC) and .5 grams Bud Explosion added last tank fill a couple days ago.
TDS is 810 PH 6.2 but it was 5.7 2 days ago.

On the chart it looks like a calcium thing but i tend to chase the tail a bit and dont want to bugger my Orangeberry!

Older growth was effected first.

Calcium is an immobile element, meaning deficiencies caused by lack of calcium or disruptions in calcium uptake, will cause symptoms in the actively growing, younger leaves. Seeing your leaf tips all curled up i think it’s nutrient burn and probably some problems with potassium uptake caused by overfeeding. Thats my 2 cents.

I will swap out the tank tomorrow morning. Back to 750 TDS PH 5.5 to start and let it swing up. I might swap one of them out to a bubble bucket because she is having the worst effect and i think the plant has different needs.

I have really always been my own worst enemy in this regard. Finding the right amount of nutrients and getting them green throughout. With coco i do find it easier but I would have to think it has something to do with a buffering capacity or something.

It is in the things i wished i knew section too. The thing I said Eureka too. Maybe i just lock bud explosion in my safe for now because i am powerless over my love for big buds. It started as 100 colas how can i do it and now its a fat juicy how big without bud rot...is my endeavor.

Unrelated but wow i had this weird shaped gummy i made. I think it was huge. And i remembered i had one earlier and that is probably 600mg or so maybe 1000 if i count that other one i remembered i had at 11.

So even i have to admit i am high...pretty damned stoned. Adub rosin gummies...LOL. Wow i am making a ton more of these.

Back to it

I might do a run with GH at the growweedeasy levels and see how that goes. I have a years worth of that from an earlier sale.

I think i was hasty in my bud explosion. Premature explosion...it has never happened to me before.

:D OMG now that is funny.

I have to say though i truly envy the cats that have it down. You guys that have your nute and know it and rock it with your water and system.

I need to get to there. And stick with a single nute forever and dial that in. I am going with GH trio or MC. They are both pretty cheap and work.

I like GH because i can add silica and calmag as recomended.

One of the reasons it says Elite Hobbyiest is because i wish to spend time mastering this. Like a person that grooms a bonsai tree or a martial artist.

It is where i really find zen. If they were greener and not fucked up i would find more fuckign ZEN

ok back to tranquil.

Yeah shit happens. I like a rich organic mix for that reason. It’s just easier to me. And i know people say hydro is easy too but i guess different people incline towards different things and that’s a personal thing.

I’ve no past experience with hydro so let me ask you something. Are you using ro water? Is that why you are adding cal-mg to the solution? Because according to the mulders chart, calcium and magnesium have an antagonistic relationship with potassium. Meaning it’ll cause decreased intake of potassium when calcium and magnesium is present (in abundance causes K def).

Now this chart looks at the interactions between nutrient ions and i think this applies to hydro too. Again never done hydro so never researched about what applies to hydro. Well anyway, i’d decrease cal-mag maybe even completely get rid of it if not ro. See if that helps. If not maybe move to organic soil. It’s so much easier. Haha.

I use RO water. My water supply starts at 500 to 700ppm so i like 20 better.

That is why i use calmag. And this is a new learning curve. I am glad i am running coco pots too :D

Well hope you do man. Soil bugs are cute tho. Its true zen watching them scavenge for their food in their microcosmos. Fun. Haha.
On the other hand i realized you may be talking about an entirely different kind of “scared”. Balanced organic soil is also much more stable and safe against an infestation. In sterile mediums one bug is enough to take over. In organic rich mediums there is always competition. Well anycase, just wanted to share. Everyone feels comfortable with different things and that’s fine by me. Haha.

I'd go to handwatering pro mix in smart pots, easiest way Ive found other than ebb n flow. Mix that MC up by the five gallon bucket, Im still using milk jugs, but Im up to six, lol. Super simple for me and hardly have to ph the food, plants love it, I need more or bigger lights, and let her rock. But not sure how many plants you got, jme and jmho

I'm having same issue using MC @3.5g/gallon, calmag and bloom booster. I was around 800ppm and dropped it over the weekend to 600ppm. My guess is potassium lockout due to over feeding. Im running GG4 S1, Bridezilla and BBC. The GG4s show it the worst up top, but I did notice the burn on the serrated leaves at the bottom. It didnt start until I added the bloom booster. I dropped MC to 3g/gallon and just bloom booster.

Not calcium deficiency, calcium would be spotted more in the middle. The edges the way they are is the answer but I can’t remember
