Floraflex

All things floraflex might as well put them here.

I will be putting a complete system in my bloom room.

8 X 3 gallon pots fed with discs (matix under the disk).

8 X 6 x 6 x 6 floraflex pots with coco.

Using 2 x 4 trays X 2 a 1 1/2 x 4 foot tray and however many totes it takes to FILL IT.

Both will be fed on separate reservoirs in my waiting room which is not heated by lights. Drain to waste feed on the tables and i will shop vac it out every morning. When i see how i like it i will plumb it all in with 3/4 PVC

I am also adding 1/2 PVC trellis systems for everything to help the fall over problems.

I found out today Floraflex is coming out with a range of square pot covers so you can use square pots of 3/5 or whatever gallons. I got round ones to fit 3 gallon pots.

The 3 gallon pots will run a mix of 1/3 each Destiny organic, blue sky organic, coco coir. The first 2 have perlite aeration.

I believe this is the solution for coco and for rockwool cubes...no more salt buildup. Drain to waste for a constant flush.

Feed for 30 seconds 6 or 8 times a day...dial it right in. I need to find a really good timer to make this work just right...i will check the box of timers first. It was beside the bag of watches...i had so many i built a belt...it was a total waist of time...

12 plants are going to fill that 5 x 10 wall to wall. :D

I was looking at a 50 gallon res for ebb and flow...would something like that be better off with smaller square pots like mentioned above? Harvest is not the goal either.

This is a good tutoral about the possibilities after thinking about it...

I could put the 6 x 6 floraflex pots in my flood and drain tote and recirculate top feed OR feed from a res outside the tent to drain to waste into the tote bottom. what a great way to run up to 8 testers in a controlled environment.

After I set this up i will probably get another bubbler...the 3 gallon pots take 2 lines each so you hook up 4 to the bubbler head.

Heisen really explains his recirculating system very well in the youtube videos too.
