Sometimes when people "make money" in the stock market, it's a bit illusory. If the increase in dollar value of stock shares hasn't kept up with inflation (dollar devaluation) you've lost money in terms of purchasing power.

There should be some inflation coming soon, "they" just created lots of new dollars from the magical money machine.

Precious metals might make sense to invest in now. I wonder how much longer the U.S. dollar game (federal reserve notes) can continue.
