Dark Owl is a collaboration between Dark Horse and Night Owl, I have tried Autos in the past but havent had very good results. These autos are supposed to be very reliable as far as yield and potency. There are supposed to be two main Phenos. I am starting this journal as I am starting the grow so I am not sure what will happen. I wil update week by week. I think it will be good to look at later so I can fine tune my Auto grows and see what comes out of these.

Week 2 everything going well. A light spray R/O water with coconut and aloe, every 3 or 4 days around the seedling. I also have been watering the edges of the fabric pot to get some moisture for the roots to seek out. The first week is the most important to get a big root system to support a big plant. 20220826_104458.jpg20220826_104522.jpg it is staring to put out branches.

Week 4 been spraying the top to keep the cover crop going the pot is still heavy and moist in the bottom. I will pull back the mulch top dress and water enough to melt down the top dressing. It seems to like higher humidity. Gets droopy when the humidifier runs out of water...need a better humidifier.20220909_073831.jpg20220909_073840.jpg20220909_080743.jpg

Week 5. I top dressed with Pride Lands, washed it down with Coconut and Aloe infused water from BAS. Added some coco coir from the spent microgreen trays. The worms love them, I had an explosion of worms in my worm bin after using the s20220915_181418.jpg20220915_181431.jpg20220915_181213.jpg20220915_181222.jpg20220915_181812.jpgpent tray mats like sod over the top of the bin. They eat all the roots and leftover plant matter in a matter of days leaving behind some nice worm castings.

Week 6. I am liking the way this thig streched out and all branches seem to be producing. It still has all leaves on it and I have done nothing but water once a week and top dress 1 time. It looks a little deficient and tips are burnt at the same time. Maybe light bleach on the top and something missing from the soil. Maybe time for a compost tea or something. :unsure:20220923_104148.jpg20220923_104154.jpg20220923_104209.jpg20220923_104226.jpg

Week 7. I just Top dressed and watered really good, soaking it all down seemed to help green things back up. The 2700 spectrum makes it look lighter green than it is. I also did a slight defoliation to let some light down low, and20221001_073012.jpg20221001_074502.jpg20221001_074607.jpg20221001_074631.jpg tied the two lowest branches down to get more direct light.

Week 11 I think she is done! she has faded fast the last three days and getting that Amber color over the top nugs. I may do a two st20221023_075418.jpg20221023_075413.jpg20221023_075406.jpg20221023_075332.jpg20221023_075321.jpg20221023_075257.jpgep harvest. The 100 watt HLG has done pretty good as far as penetrating about half haw down with this plants open and even structure. The lowers probably are a week or so behind the tops. I will chop and dry then take a final harvest weight, minus a few sample nugs a long the way.
