Just a few I commonly use. Most know them, but might be a few new ones to some.
Sorry just random.

GPH- gallons per hr
GPM - gallons per minute
LPM - Liters per minute
LPH- Liters per Hr

DE- Double end (some lighting connections and myco casing technique)
D.E. - Diatomaceous Earth

LPW- Lumens per watt
LPF- Lumens per Sq Ft (LPSF)
LPM- Lumens per square meter (LPSM)

GPW- Grams per watt
GPSF- Grams per Sq Ft

PSI -Pounds per sq Inch
CFM- Cubic Ft per minute
CFH- Cubic Ft per hr

P.C.- personal computer
PC- Pressure Cooker

just a few and some use variations of these as well. I've got a big list somewhere, I'll add applicable acronyms from as I find 'em.

aq. = aqueous (water based)
BE = Biological Efficiency
BT = Bacillus thuringiensis, - biological bacterial pesticide for fungus gnats larvae and other pests
BTi = Bacillus thuringiensis "israelensis") specific variety
CEV = Closed Eye Visuals
Chuck = Transfer of pollen to a female (pollinating)
coir = coco coir; coconut fiber; coconut "hair"
Cuts - Clones, slips, cuttings for propagating new plants
contam = contamination
dH2O = distilled H2O (water)
DI = De-Ionized water
EtOH = Ethanol
FAE = Fresh Air Exchange
FH = Flow Hood
H2O2 = Hydrogen Peroxide (3% is the standard available concentration)
HEPA = High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor /filter
LC = Liquid culture for growth of spores or bacterium
noc = inoculate ( adding myco, endo , ecto, bacterial culture or spores to a substrate or solution)
TC = Tissue Culture - method of propagating plants form basal cell material
RH = Relative Humidity
RO = Reverse Osmosis, as in RO water
tek = technique
v/v = volume/volume
verm = vermiculite
VOC = Volitile Organic Chemical
w/v = weight/volume

Would love to see some of the LED guys add some info. acronyms, and just basic names. info and descriptions.
Also those that are making "Fems" and the chems they use, the guys doing organics, teas, fermenting, the hydro guys have their own terms, etc.
Lighting gurus as well with all the technical terms and just basics description on lux, lumen, par, Kelvin etc.
Most of us know most of this stuff but I do see some "new" terms and acronyms I'm not familiar with being used .
Get a basic glossary going. acronyms, common phrases and terms, dictionary/ definitions. Reference material without the posts . (like this one :p )
