How long can I store and how should I store bucked buds before they turn to shit?

Is it dry? If yes mason jars in the vegetable crisper. As long that drawer doesn’t get opened and product doesn’t get exposed to light. Put humidit/temp monitors in each jar. I have stuff that’s 6 years old That still works fine. It may lose some smell till it’s ground but it will be fine.
