That is a 'ropak' 4 gallon. (Just ask the ladies reeeeal nicely @ Dairy Queen)
Inside measurement, across the top is only 9 inch.
It is 3 inch - with an outside measure of 4
I think they call it is called 'sched 40', not sure where that moniker originated from , but it certainly is beefy. Three places in town sell a three inch bulkhead. UFA is $68 peavymart is $18
It is what is commonly carried around here. The white stuff would work just fine.
I nearly shit when I saw that 12 bucket needed 26 bulkheads or so -that is stinkin costly.

My system is drawing/pumping from low in the res. One bulkhead per bucket, gravity drained through a (single) common waste line.

I do not know what the ideal rate of flow is although I know it cannot be achieved with an undersized pump. They are all mostly junk and they will not perform the same over time.

Most of the time my car is just going to get a few groceries, but there is over 200 horsepower and a supercharger waiting there for me, if I need it.

ASTM came up with that schedule 40, schedule 80 thing just for a common reference because some systems need thicker walled higher pressure resistant pipe, higher number is thicker walled and can handle more pressure. Again why they used that moniker I have no idea. So you actually had to buy 4" bulkheads since OD is 4" or was they still 3"? I'm thinking the UC fittings are 3" outer diameter but need to verify. What is the ropak? Or are you referencing to the bucket itself?

I was having a little tea party this morning, and I took the opportunity to photograph these plants while they were isolated.

I am trying to focus on my flavour game. These plants have been flowering for 7 weeks now, so I am putting them into the corners with less light. I blasted my last crop all the way through and none of the plants were overly aromatic. Perhaps a slow maturation, in dimmer light, before letting these ones die a slow, lonely death may do it. Hopefully, that brings the stinky out.

Sassy Sativa- she is in no hurry.

This Indica has all the markings of a real P.O.S.
Dinky buds, flat smell, and not a cloud in sight after 7 weeks of 12/12. It only wants to grow fan leaves and evem they are still pissy about 900 ppm feed almost 2 weeks ago.
She is poor, and she is ugly,,, if I don't find a fur-lined pussy; that would tally 0 for 3.
If I don't trip the light fantastic with jebus on his merry train with these buds -I've got no use for this thing.

Oh yeah, I haven't figured out how to clone it in less than 6 weeks. I have had this cow since August, and the clones are not even ready to flower.

I neglected to get a close-up of Dogsbreath, she clones well, never complians, also branches and branches and branches all day. The structure on this specimen is a little weak , but I did not do the initial pruning.
I am curious to see how this one turns out.

Hydro on left, Dogsbreath centre front, coffee clones on table.

I do not have the experience to conceptualize the carrying capacity of this room.
I really dig @Dirtbag 's set up. He is running 16 plants in an 8 by 8. I reeeeally love Monster plants. If I had room to veg long enough, I think I would be happy with six plants in an 8 by 8. But, I do not have my vegroom set up yet in the garage - yet. I do not have enough heat hoarded to veg out there, so I am vegging in the house basement.
The idea of flowering out smaller plants is really starting to grow on me. For the first time I have a selection of beans that I am very eager to taste. I have been considering flowering smaller plants although I am hesitant to monster crop clone, because of my inept cloning skills.
This idea is appealing to me, because I intended to move EVERYTHING out to the garage, to avoid odours in the home. Vegging plants start to stink up even after a couple of weeks.

I have been toying with the idea of trying to run through as many beans as I can. That will allow me to fill up the jars and avoid flowering over summer. As such, I could only hold the clones of the champion strains in low light, before I begin flowering in the fall again.

The only superchared car I have right now is a 90 Thunderbird SC. I swapped in a 93 worm, for a couple extra pounds.
Those super coupes are pretty rare in my area, I only remember one that a lady drove that worked at a local convenience store, had the supercharged 3.8 automatic, burgundy in color. The older turbo coupes were more abundant around here, plenty of those around here over the years.

As much as I enjoy them, I would not recommend buying one.
I have owned a few of them and find it to be like building model rockets.
You meticulously spend hours assembling the thing, just to light the fuse and watch it blow up.
Flat rate on a spark plug change is over 3 hours. The intercooler plumbing is so cumbersome, if you drop a wrench under the hood -it will never hit the floor.
Over the years I have done engine swaps, intake gaskets, I have torn the synchros out of 2nd and 4th, and of course never ending head gasket problems.
They must be female, because, for some reason it seems worth it.

5 spd, heck yeah! Yea I've always heard those had problems with head gaskets. The intercooler plumbing is cool though where it says supercharged or something like that if I remember right. I've had a couple Taurus SHOs, v8 and v6 but never had SC or a TC.

I am going to anchor these unruly beasts.
Every morning I snap the little heads back.
Every night they rise from the grave.

This is becoming a well-developed storyline. Just when you think the antagonist is invincible, I will find a way to kill it.

I gotta be careful with this one. I do not want to prompt a second wind. Last full feed today. She is taking it @ over 950 for the last to weeks. I thought I would be pushing this one longer, although I think it is time to ramp it down.
I hope this is the last we see of the white hairs.

I have been farting around with the propane burning today. It adds 100 ppm per MINUTE to my garage.

Don't worry about Jewels.
BBq rules apply.
I pull up a stool, I light it, I burn it, eyes on @ all times. I shut it off.

Live to fight an additional day.

Yea man those dudes really add some co2 quick, do you have a monitor? Might not take long to get into the red with it. Be nice If you could rig a controller to it and have a secondary heat source tied into it on a flip somehow, idk though might not work without an electronic pilot or thermostat. Just brainstorming! Haha

Yes, I have a monitor. It takes a sample every second or so.
I do not have a furnace in the garage. I bought the heater in case of power outage.
I have been kicking it on for 5-10 mins @ lights on (10 pm). I warm up the smoking room and have a session with the wife before I put her to bed. I relight it again, later on, before I retire.

I had them both lit for an hour, WITH the pedestrian door open the other day, it brought us up over 4000 ppm C02

So what did we learn here today ?
Always talk to your plants.
It only took me a couple of minutes to transplant that thing -and now scroll back to look at my CO2 metre. I was able to raise the CO2 by 200 parts per million, just breathing inside my 8X6 room.

Back to my roots

10 week clones
F this.
Transplanted anything with roots out the pot. Unrooted into compost,,, too many beans in this world to wait around on these nameless, unproven, unknowns.
I now have them full circle. The originals are one week from chop.
I have hedge'd bet, early clones in their second week of flower.
I have all three vegging.
I have all three, now rooted clones.

Set a new Jewels record here, this week.
I wrote 'b-day' on this batch of clones. That means I cut them on the 8th.

That is me all over.
30 days was my previous record, to root out of rockwool.
It was starting to piss me off that I could leave snips in a glass for a week only to have them immediately wilt and start dying, when I actually began to actively 'care' for them.

These ones I left in a cup for a week, under 400 W MH. Then I put them in very light mix, with wet feet - no domes.
Just blasted them.
