LUX meter to PAR meter hack

I bought a cheap meter that you stick in the ground that measures Ph, moisture and light level. I just take it outside in direct sunlight and see where the needle is. Use that for my reference under the lights. Just stay under where the needle went. Maybe not optimum but I am not trying to squeeze the most out of my plants (oh the horror).

Wow that sucks. I just ordered a Pulse Pro.

Bad move? I can still cancel because they don't ship for another 5 weeks. I paid $475 for it with a discount code. I DO need a ppfd meter tho for the new Diablos.

I would cancel. Facts is facts. If you can do a simple math conversion, you can save 450...
