Smell Proof Storage

vac sealer works good too. And mason jars but i prefer vac sealer and a few small jars of assorted strains for now. I make the bags a little bigger so i can fill my jar back up and seal it up again.
Do you have the mason jar attachment for the food saver? I was wondering how well they work.

I have vac sealed some Dubstep in a plastic bag, and it got so compressed I’m reluctant to do any more.

I use mason jars. I keep a new box of lids on hand for when they get old.
I am shifting to the amber mason jars for regular use stuff that I keep out.
I use the Food-saver vacuum sealer both during drying and for 'extended' storage.
I don't waste my time with it while it's curing because of regular burping.
I have both the regular and widemouth jar attachment
I have an abundance of different strains and am currently adding more to the mix, so I put a jelly jar of each strain back once it's cured.
I put it on the calendar to check in six months (from when it was cured) to see how my storage is working.

The Ardent Nova chick is always doing testing, and there was little to no THC degradation of decarbed weed after 6 months of storage.

i put it in a ziplock and then vac seal it but...stop it before it sucks it flat.

With the foodsaver it makes that whining suck noise (like a politician) press the seal button when you get it where you like it. Dont let it go until it wants to seal.

I let it go until it looks about right then i seal it. I opened a 2 month old vac seal and it was beauty. I did have to mess around to get the right vac pressure and i do know what you mean.

If you go to far you can put a quarter in your bong bowl :D lol

The ball/Mason/canning jars work mostly but when you walk by the jars you get a little whiff of weed. Same for the containers from Amazon I posted above.

I loaded up a vaporizer last night with some weed from a dispensary for my wife and I was surprised how little smell it had compared to the weed I had grown. I guess my weed is just extra stinky. 😁

I have a vacuum sealer that I can try for longer term storage.

Thanks for the advice everyone!

Long time storage I use a vacume seal.
I been collecting big ass jars of pickles from no frills grocery store for years....no name pickles. They hold a qp and more nicely.

Pickle jars and mason jars for me. I have plastic lids for the mason jars. Excess/overflow gets vac-sealed for long term. The pickle jars are surprisingly tight, but they are the dispensary storage, not the long term storage.

The big jars I use about once per year they get washed out with 99 alcohol ...after I reduce and get that alcohol out I have some pretty nice lube.

Yea in regards to dogs there is no such thing as smell proof. There nose works different then ours and is way more powerful. Try putting those jars into something else like a starlite etc. I know they make duffle and book bags designed for smell my old dealer had one. Jar it throw it in there and you should be straight
