@Uncle Romulus plays drums.
I strum the ole skin banjo. Thats it for me. Im more of the freestyle singer type. More so in, my drinking days.
What type of music @HydroRed
I have no bounds on genre & I can play just about everything. Probably be easier to say what I dont play haha.
I've recorded, produced, mixed and mastered hip hop beats & songs for some of Detroit's/Midwest's local and national acts (wont say who for obvious reasons). I have literally 100's of beats produced and sold. I've played guitar and drums in a few death metal bands, Ive played acoustic guitar & harmonica in folk trios, I was a DJ for a couple nu-metal bands, done some sit in studio work for a while, ran a studio for a while .... the list goes on. Zero prejudice here when it comes to music. It kept food on the table for decades.
In more recent days now I just play acoustic for my wife or at the occasional get together with friends lol.

I played in 5 or 6 rock bands over the years. I hardly play anymore.
One of my Ex's is a sing/songwriter in Nashville. I played the legendary "Blue Bird Cafe" when we were together. I was in the "Musicians Union" for a few years. Met a few famous Nashville artists. Even met the guy who did the "duck calls" on HeeHaw. lol We played the fair circuit back in the 90's. Had a small recording studio about the same time. Played guitar and sang in a 3 pc band for many years.

Long time guitar player here. I still have a couple electrics & love my Tele but nowdays it is mostly all acoustic. I see you crushing on the Taylor, I live about 10 miles from Taylor factory & have 4 of them amongst others.

You ran a studio? Sounds like you are way ahead of me, mainly I just play acoustic & try to sing along these days. Certain strains make that more fun than others. Once in awhile I crank up the stereo & blast along on the Telecaster, but that is getting rare too.

My first instrument tho was from my Hawaiiana classes, way back in elementary school on the Big Island. An hour of ukulele every day at school. I still have a few Ukuleles. Hawaiians like to jam. Used to have a lot of fun jamming with friends, don't do that much anymore. It has become mostly a personal thing for me these days, especially after a good sativa.

Music is a great creative outlet.
