But local farmers markets would be LEGIT!!!
We wish it was so....

Every state will regulate differently....but until it's not a federally scheduled drug....this will never fly in many areas. Here in CO I can GIFT you an ounce in front of a cop and he can do nada. However...sell that same ounce/...or sell something else of little worth and "throw in' an oz as a perc....or recieve ANY monetary renumeration for that oz (the fabled "donation"/etc)...and it's considered "sales"...all of which require those million dollar licensing scenarios/scrutinies. No license...it's no longer "legal" to sell it. The state wants THEIR cut.

Again..if it goes out for public consumption..all that testing bullshit/allowed ppm's/listing of ferts/chemicals used in the grow/etc....all must be on a label somewhere on the (licensed) product. Ah...red tape.

And FYI...at least here....nowadays......everything for sale as an edible is in formal, labelled packaging. 99% of the time you will find gummies...and hard candies...and chocolate candies....but there aren't cookies/cakes/baked banna bread/etc/tiramasu/homeade this/that artisan/craft type goodies like there was when the med shops were in their infancy and could buy from local folks who baked/grew/etc. From what my son told me after 4 years behind the counter... gummies are 75% of the edible sales....and the same goes for smokeables....concentrates make up the majority of sales...far more than flowers do. (most of which is also pre-packaged in 1/8th z's...especially now/with COVID)

Screw legalization. If you want to fight for it being highly regulated and taxed, charge on

Decriminalization would fix it all - regulate it like you do tomatoes. If you grow them for public sale or consumption we have rules. Otherwise, do what you want.

This is in Bailey Co. I always said that Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a gubmint agency :) ATF Bailey CO.jpg

I make my own edible stuff, but being completely dense about dosing I used the gubmint standard as a guideline -10mg/dose etc.

But for me

Recreational dosages are 10 mg max per dose.....10 doses per pack. You can buy up to 8 packs in one visit.

Medical dispensary offerings have no dosage limits here. I've seen 500mg candies. >Yowsir< for most folks. I have to eat twice that amount to even feel em...so I don't imbibe. Shit gets tasting damn gnarly at those doses. Like eating straight hash.

Shanel that made the Nova is constantly having stuff tested just to find out different uses for the thing. Most recent one she decarbed some bud-stems and had them tested for THC content. Stuff like that.

Anyway - you can re-infuse oil. I'm sure there's eventually a saturation point, but you can run a batch of oil and weed and get 100mg per whatever, then run the same oil with new weed and it was 200mg. So that has possibilities.
